Premia
Premia Premia is the company that sells tires and changeable details of trucks or tractors on Belarusian (for us domestic) market. Company consists of more than 30 remote offices in cities of Belarus, 200 employee and 300 VIP agents.
The spread net of offices was the reason for company to start the project for centralization of common operation in one place and in one Information system.

The system had to allow the following operations:
  • Common order entry on the base of company payment conditions and limits;
  • Order processing control, delivery time promising;
  • Common invoicing on the base of company standards;
  • Control of warehouse.
The problem of ordering was that modern trucks contain rather big number of changeable details. It could be close to 5000-10000 positions. For consumer who makes an Order it’s very important to choose, what exact detail (or what exact id) has to be supplied.

Our solution concept was to provide visualization of track nodes and to make a full catalog of details. We have decided to create online catalog, where auto parts, their nodes and details are drawn and available for select.

With the employee of Premia Andersen developed a new catalog of production that has district logical structure and consist of more than 1 000 000 details.

Ordering process has a standard decision. Customer selects a detail, than put it into basket, for the all selected positions provides delivery and payment conditions and presses the button Order. After that, customer could see the state of an order. Is it processed or decline or production shipped and ready to get to the customer warehouse.

System has elements of CRM. Every remote office could observe a list of customers and, if needed, to add or update customers that belongs to office district.

Invoicing process also has standard number of steps. Customer collects ordered production in an invoice, checks payment conditions and prices as a result, creates invoice, prints it and sends to the consumer.
The profit of a new process is that information about new invoice is instantly visible in head office. There is no need to wait while interface resendS this information in the night.

The new website was a great opportunity for our customer to satisfy its clients and attract new consumers. The chosen technologies have proved to be the most appropriate for this project and have provided a stable work of the whole supply chain business process.

Result. Over 1,000 Premia customers already order truck details and components through the website. The key system features are following:

  • Order tires and truck details remotely through corporate web site;
  • Control order state and place where materials are located;
  • Visual navigation;
  • User-friendly and “light” web design;
  • Advanced system security;
  • Graphical data visualization of the goods in the auto catalog;
  • Advanced “Filter” option allows customers to find product quickly.
Technologies: .Net Framework 2.0, C#, JavaScript, JQuery, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, Microsoft SQL Server 2005, IIS 6.0.

Efforts: 8000 hours
